Dia teaches traditional, west African drumming every Tuesdays (all levels), 7.30pm – 9pm, at Longfield Hall, 50 Knatchbull Rd, London SE5 9QY
£10 per class (+£5 for djembe hire)

Come and join Senegalese maestros Dia on drums and Papis on dance for our first monthly drum and dance workshop at Longfield Hall!
Everyone will have the chance to try both drumming and dancing, exploring the rhythms, movements and rich traditions of West African music and dance in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Join us for 10 unforgettable days of rhythm, dance, and cultural immersion in Senegal!

• 1h30 drumming class (am) ; 1h30 drumming and/or dance class (pm) weekdays
• Free time –nearby beaches, fishermen villages, Somone mangrove, Popenguine
pilgrimage village, street party with drumming and dance and plenty more!
• Departure on Tuesday 31st March
Weekend 28th/29th March (not included in prices, optional)
• Gorée Island & Dakar city

Passionate! Memorable! The Jahdiafolila ‘25 workshop unfolded in an idyllic setting that inspired creativity and connection. ONE-TO-ONE CLASS
Dia offers private drum tuition in the London/Surrey area to students who are keen on getting started, or for more advanced players who wish to push themselves.
Cost – £45/h
SCHOOL TUITION
Dia regularly teaches in schools and is fully DBS checked.
